You cannae take a good man down. Disqualify John Crallan one day and he comes back with scoring an astonishing 44 points, one more than he thought he had. Commiserations go to Tony Graham who went round in 2 over par gross, 72 strokes, , scoring 42 points. Ian McCulloch came third with 39 points which would have won on most days. Indeed the scoring was exceptionally good with three players on 37 points and two on 36. Bottom of the pile was Dave Nielsen with 30 points being narrowly beaten by Jeff Sutcliffe. Detailed Results
Ian McCulloch strikes again with 29 points followed by Jeff with 26 points and a better inward half from Cral. Points to be checked again when I return home to a proper computer.
Rain was forecast but it kept away for our round. It was commendable that 10 players scored 31 or better of the 13 who turned up. It was an extremely tight finish with three players on 36 points. Honours go to Ian Brown who had a better inward 6 holes from Brian Porteous, leaving Tony Graham in third place. Overall Ronnie leads on 40 points, Brian 36 points and Terry and Nev on 35.
