At last the weather was kind to us today. Gloriously overcast and with hardly any rain, it was a successful Winter League match to set us up for Not The Xmas Lunch.

Clouds over Loch Ken

There was a fine victory for Chris in the Winter League – a long-expected first prize after a steady collection of 2nd and 3rd places in this season’s competition.

You can see the wind farm on a clear day.

There was another 2’s glory for Kay at the 4th (her second in as many months). This helped her secure 2nd place on the day.

Chris & Kay are now joint 3rd in the Winter League [edit: sorry, joint 4th, I was doing Elena out of her 3rd place there]. Marena still leads the pack despite having a slightly off-day (for her – she still made 4th place on the day!)

Back in the clubhouse, Erica and Elena with assorted helpers, served up a brilliant Not The Xmas Lunch to be enjoyed by all…

Oh Flowers of Scotland

We had a great turn out and it was brilliant to see some of our longer-standing members (Val and Jill) as well as two of our newer members (Tatania and Alison) joining in the fun.

Hey, we’ve *earned* those puddings…

Only 4 more Winter Leagues to go before we get out the sun block, big hats and iced water bottles for our summer golf season.
