We have our first of the Knockout tournaments as this week Brian & Erica Porteous won the final of the Johnstone Trophy in a tough match against Paul & Sandra Lancaster.
On Wednesday Doris McQueen won the second ladies circle competition and on Saturday Elena Rogers was the winner of the May Burkinshaw putter with a superb 74 + 27 putts.
With no competition on Sunday the gents held a 2 man scramble sweep. The winners were Larry Jones & Scott Jamieson with a 63.
The Week Ahead
Wednesday 7th September – Final ladies 9 hole circle competition. Main draw at 1pm with lunch beforehand.
Saturday 10th September – Ladies September Medal. Draw at 10am.
Sunday 11th September – Gents September Medal. All day tee off with the main draw at 11:45am.
