A great day was enjoyed by all. Marvellous golf and fantastic food.
31 players played in a 3 person texas scramble this afternoon. The course was in great condition and the weather warm enough to play in shirtsleeves. The competition was won by the team of Alex Long, John Crallan and Brian Porteous. The new format for the prisegiving was a resounding success. All enjoyed their golf. An outstanding buffet was provided by members: ham, pork, salmon, chicken pies and pasties to mention a few followed by deserts to die for. The serious business followed with prizes presented by our president Elspeth Thomas.
